It’s up to You!

While we will provide some route information, please remember that is only a loose collection of information to help your adventure.  This is not an organised tour.  Infact, we fully expect the first year to be totally chaotic.

In 10 days we will travel approximately 1500km (including one down day).  This will mean about 3 to 6 hours riding each day.

Phnom Penh, Koh Kong,  Tonle Sap lake, Battambang, Siem Reap (Angkor Wat).  Tbaeng Meanchey, Stung Treng, (time permitting Ban Lung and Sen Monorom, otherwise) Kampong Cham and then finishing again in Phnom Penh.

We aim to travel as much as possible either on dirt roads, or small sealed roads, avoiding highways as much as possible.

The smaller roads are less trafficked by trucks and buses, so they’re safer.  They also take you to see parts of the country that other travellers cant see, and after all, thats the main point of this trip.

Having said that, beware that the first and last legs of the trip (near Phnom Penh) will be on busy main roads.

Way Points

We will distribute GPS way points for the towns we plan to reach each night, there will be accommodation in all the towns (no bookings needed), and a cold beer to be had in all of them.

A map will be published to this page as the route is firmed up, and a Garmin compatible  GPS map will be supplied on request.
